After recent significant growth, we are actively seeking applications for experienced afternoon shift warehouse staff to join our team based in Regents Park.
n
About the role
n
This is a permanent, full time position, reporting directly to the Afternoon Manager, working Sunday - Thursday. The purpose of the role is to pick, check and pack customer orders, using safe manual handling procedures and mobile equipment in a timely and effective manner.
n
Your key responsibilities are:
n
Working in a temperature-controlled environment (freezer, chiller, ambient);
n
Picking and checking outbound stock for deliveries using voice pick / scanning technology;
n
Replenishing stock levels when required;
n
Loading trucks for outbound deliveries;
n
Employing correct stock rotation principles at all times, based on 'first in first out' rule;
n




Practicing safe and correct manual handling principles at all times;
n
Operating mobile equipment;
n
Other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
n
About you:
n
Hold a current and valid forklift licence for at least 24 months with good high-reach operational skills;
n
Previous freezer and cold storage experience preferred but not essential;
n
Experience in pick/pack work preferably with voice pick experience;
n
Minimum of 1-2 years of pick/pack experience is required;
n
Hard-working, committed and passionate with a can-do attitude;
n
Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy;
n
Good organisational and time management skills;
n
Live and breathe safety;
n
Able to work in an active and rapid paced environment;
n
Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position;
