Maker Building Co is seeking a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our team. We are looking for a reliable, motivated all-round carpenter with a broad range of construction skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. The successful applicant will be an all-rounder who can confidently work across a variety of commercial and residential building projects, take responsibility for their work, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

Work across general carpentry and building works
n
Work with timber and steel/metal framing
n
Undertake concreting and general construction work
n
Perform roofing and roof construction work
n
Install cladding
n
Read and interpret plans and drawings
n




Manage tasks from start to completion
n
Maintain high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
n
n
About you
n
n
Qualified Carpenter with relevant trade qualifications
n
Robust experience in general carpentry and building works
n
Experience working with timber and steel/metal framing
n
Concreting and general construction experience
n
Roofing and roof construction experience
n
Current White Card and relevant licences/tickets where required
n
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
n
Good communication skills and a professional approach
n
Experience in maintenance, renovations, commercial fit-outs and general building works highly regarded
n
