Laboratory Relocation & Logistics Assistant (No Lab Experience Required) n
Working alongside experienced laboratory staff, you will provide practical, hands‐on support to the laboratory team throughout a major laboratory relocation project from West Ryde to North Ryde. This is a temporary assignment running through to 31 January ****, offering full‐time hours, Monday to Friday. This is not a laboratory testing or scientific role. 2 - 3 weeks training will be provided before the relocation begins.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Assisting with unpacking laboratory equipment and supplies
n
Moving equipment and materials short distances within the laboratory under instruction
n
Supporting the relocation team with general warehouse and logistics tasks
n
Receiving and organising deliveries
n
Assisting with general operational support wherever required
n
Providing occasional reception support, including answering phones and receiving deliveries
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
n
Following all safety procedures and work instructions carefully
n

About you
n
n
Current Drivers Licence (essential)
n
Forklift Licence (desirable)
n




Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, production, or a similar hands‐on setting (preferred but not essential)
n
A strong commitment to workplace safety
n
The ability to follow instructions carefully and consistently
n
A positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever required
n
Good communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of team members
n
A high level of care when handling equipment and materials
n
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
n

Benefits

$45-$50 per hour + Super
n
Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day (38 hours per week)
n
5 days per week on‐site at West Ryde and North Ryde
n
Immediate start (pending reference checks and Police Check)
n
Temporary assignment through to 31 January ****
