ABOUT THE ROLE
n
Eilbeck Cranes is seeking an experienced and motivated Fitter Site Installer to join our team based in Truganina, VIC. This is a full-time permanent position involving the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a variety of industrial sites.

The successful candidate will work as part of a skilled installation team delivering projects throughout Victoria and interstate when required.
n
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
n
Installation of overhead travelling cranes, gantry cranes, jib cranes, hoists, winches and associated equipment
n
Mechanical assembly and fitting of crane components
n
Alignment and installation of crane runway systems
n
Crane removals, upgrades and modifications
n
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
n
Conducting maintenance, repairs and fault finding on lifting equipment
n
Working safely at heights and in industrial environments
n




Ensuring all work complies with company and site safety requirements

ABOUT YOU
n
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Maintenance Fitter or similar
n
Experience in heavy industrial installation, maintenance or construction environments
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
n
White Card
n
Forklift Licence (desirable)
n
Dogging, Rigging or Crane experience (advantageous)
n
Ability to travel interstate when required
n
Ability to work safely at heights
n
Own basic hand tools
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
Good time management and organisational skills
n
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

Self-motivated with a positive attitude

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Travel is required (local, regional and interstate)
n
Approximately 10% to 30% travel outside the metropolitan area
n
Standard 38-hour work week with overtime opportunities
n
Standard hours are 7:00am to 3:06pm, with occasional weekend work as required
