Warehouse Storeperson – Paint Supplies

The Role
n
n
Serving trade customers at the sales counter
n
Taking and processing customer orders
n
Assisting customers with general product enquiries
n
Picking, packing and preparing paint and related products for customer orders
n
Receiving and putting away incoming stock
n
Loading and unloading deliveries
n
Forklift Operations
n
Replenishing stock within the store and warehouse
n
General warehouse and housekeeping duties
n
Checking stock and ensuring orders are accurate
n
Working closely with the team to provide excellent customer service
n
Manual handling of paint tins, cartons and other products
n
n
About You
n
n
Has previous warehouse, storeperson, retail or trade counter experience
n
Is confident communicating with customers face-to-face
n
Has good attention to detail and can accurately pick and process orders
n
Is physically capable of performing regular manual handling duties
n
Is reliable, punctual and has a solid work ethic
n
Enjoys working as part of a team
n
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced trade environment
n




Has basic computer and order-entry skills
n
Has a current forklift licence & proven experience
n
Previous experience within the paint, hardware, building supplies or trade industry would be advantageous but is not essential
n
