Production Workers / Labourers – Timber manufacturing / assembly

Spectra Recruitment is currently hiring Production Workers/Labourers in Morningside to join a rapid-growing timber manufacturing team and start consistent, ongoing work.
n
$***** – $***** per hour + overtime available
n
Hours
n
Monday–Thursday: 6:30am–3:00pm
n
Friday: 6:30am–12:30pm (early finish)
n

Key duties
n
n
Assemble timber trusses for floor and roof systems
n
Operate hand tools, power tools, nail guns, bandsaws, drop saws, and other workshop equipment
n
Measure, position, and secure timber components
n
Follow production drawings and work instructions
n
Perform manual handling and lifting duties as part of a team
n
n
Skills and experience
n
n
Previous experience in timber manufacturing, production assembly, sawmill operations or a similar environment is highly desirable
n
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
n
Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling
n
Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety
n
