Salary $105,854 to $112,648 (pro-rata) plus Not-For Profit (NFP) salary packaging options
Northern Rivers Community Legal Centre (NRCLC) is a NFP community legal centre that is passionate about what we do and committed to justice for clients and the community.
Our multidisciplinary team is made up of solicitors, tenant advocates, community legal education staff, women's domestic court advocates, paralegals, support staff and volunteers.
About our CD/CLE Program Lead Position
NRCLC has an exciting new opportunity within our Legal Team.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist our legal team coordinate the community development/ community legal education program.
The role supervises the:
Community Development/Community Legal Education Officer and
Aboriginal Legal Access Program Officer
We are seeking an individual with strong community connections, a passion for working with vulnerable communities and assisting the Centre to drive community legal education.

This role is based in Lismore on Bundjalung Country.
About You
As our ideal candidate,



you will have:
Knowledge of the community legal sector, legal assistance services and justice system.
Experience developing plain language legal information, community legal education resources and training materials.
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and/or culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Understanding of disaster recovery, housing stress, tenancy issues or other priority legal and social issues affecting the Northern Rivers region.
Experience supporting volunteers, student placements or community-based programs.
Skills in advocacy, campaign coordination, law reform or community-led consultation.
Excellentverbal and written communication skillsand ability tonegotiate difficult interactions and conflict
Be able to work autonomously under limited supervision and balance priorities.
