The Department of Primary Industries is establishing a renewed executive leadership team to guide its next chapter.
These appointments come at a pivotal time, as the department positions itself to deliver stronger outcomes for industry, communities and customers across Queensland.
The Deputy Director-General, Enterprise Services will play a central role in that journey.
The Prospect This is a broad and influential executive leadership role responsible for the functions that enable organisational performance at scale.
Leading a portfolio of approximately 400 staff and a budget of more than $180 million, you will oversee Finance, People and Culture, Governance and Risk, Communications, Digital and Customer Experience, Infrastructure and Asset Management, Information and Technology Partners.
Importantly, this role is not about administering traditional corporate services from a central office.
The department is deliberately rethinking how enterprise functions support frontline service delivery across Queensland.
Through a modern hub-and-spoke operating model, Enterprise Services will work more closely with regional operations, ensuring services are responsive, practical and aligned to customer and workforce needs.
As a member of the DPI Leadership Board, you will help shape organisational design,



drive enterprise performance and contribute to the department's strategic direction during a period of substantial transformation.

You will have experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary corporate service functions and a track record of delivering organisational improvement within large and complex environments.
You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, bringing structure,



clarity and momentum when organisations are navigating change.
Most importantly, you understand that enterprise services exist to enable others to succeed.
You are motivated by building organisational capability, strengthening performance and creating conditions where people, customers and stakeholders benefit.
