Miz Tutti is an Italian restaurant in Mortlake serving a menu of pasta, pizza, starters and seasonal dishes.
We are looking for a Cook who can prepare quality meals consistently and contribute to a well-organised kitchen service.
The right applicant will be responsible for: Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with Miz Tutti's recipes and presentation standards.
Prepare ingredients and complete mise en place before each service.
Cook pasta, sauces, starters, sides and other menu items as required.
Monitor cooking times, temperatures and portion sizes to maintain consistency.
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
Assist with receiving and storing ingredients and monitoring stock levels.
Keep workstations,



equipment and food preparation areas clean and organised.
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.
Assist with daily kitchen preparation and closing duties.
About you: At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Cook; Experience preparing Italian cuisine would be highly regarded; Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods; Valuable knowledge of food handling and kitchen hygiene practices; Strong teamwork and attention to detail.
