Reporting to our Maintenance Manager, your role will see you carry out maintenance, repairs, and installations across a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment that keep our island running.

motors and pumps Service and repair commercial kitchen and laundry equipment Ensure reliable power and lighting across the island Respond to call-outs as part of the on-call roster What we're looking for You're a qualified electrician with strong problem-solving skills, experience across a wide range of equipment, and a collaborative, positive approach.
You take pride in delivering safe, efficient work and understand the vital role you play in creating a great experience for our guests, and when the tools are down, you're ready to enjoy your time off in a tropical island paradise.
To be successful, you'll need QLD Electrical Work Licence – Electrical Mechanic (or ability to transfer from interstate) Minimum 2 years' full-time trade experience Open/unrestricted manual driver's licence White Card (Construction Induction Training) Working at Heights certification Current CPR/LVR certification Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) Willingness to participate in an on-call roster About Hamilton Island Our mission is to share the wonder of Hamilton Island with the world by creating wonder-filled experiences for our guests, employees and community.
