THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a People Services Manager to lead the operational engine of our People Culture function.
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will be reasonable for: Remuneration and Reward Employee and Industrial Relations Compliance HR Systems Data Analytics Leading a team This is a genuine step up for a senior HR Operations lead, senior HR Business Partner or People Services Manager ready to run these functional responsibilities within a tier 2 construction business.
ABOUT YOU You are an experienced People Services, HR Operations or Senior HR leadership professional with a track record of leading end-to-end people operations within a complex, multi-site workforce.
You have successfully overseen HRIS, payroll, employee relations, industrial relations, performance and remuneration activities, and are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership.
You bring significant experience working within construction, engineering, infrastructure or other project-based industries where awards, enterprise agreements and compliance requirements play a critical role.
You have developed deep expertise in interpreting industrial instruments, managing workplace investigations, resolving employee relations matters, and supporting enterprise bargaining activities.
You have led or played a key role in the implementation, optimisation and governance of HRIS platforms, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy and strong system adoption.




Your experience also includes managing payroll operations for geographically dispersed workforces, with a strong understanding of legislative, award and enterprise agreement obligations.
You are a people leader who has successfully built and developed high-performing teams, while partnering with senior executives to deliver practical people solutions and meaningful business outcomes.
You are highly analytical, commercially minded and able to translate workforce data into actionable insights that inform decision-making at an executive level.
Most importantly, you are someone who enjoys creating structure, improving processes and building trusted relationships across the business, ensuring that the fundamentals of people operations are delivered exceptionally well every day.
