Procurement Sourcing Specialist to drive strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance across complex service categories.
This role requires solid commercial acumen, market intelligence capabilities, and stakeholder engagement skills to deliver cost efficiencies and operational value, particularly within mining, oil gas, or heavy industry environments.
Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing Market Analysis Conduct comprehensive industry and supplier research to support procurement and category strategies.
Analyse market intelligence, cost drivers, and financial data to inform sourcing decisions and risk mitigation.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, value creation, and revenue enhancement.
Category Contract Management Lead procurement negotiations and develop, draft, and implement effective contracts aligned with organisational objectives.
Execute category management strategies for services such as facilities management, logistics, and industrial services.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Supplier Performance Relationship Management Monitor and manage supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs.
Proactively address service delivery issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Process Improvement Value Delivery Recommend and implement procurement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Support digital procurement initiatives, reporting, and performance tracking.




Contribute to risk management and sustainability objectives within the supply chain.
Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders, operational teams, and client stakeholders.
Provide commercial guidance and procurement expertise to support business outcomes.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
Requirements Expert proficiency in Procurement Negotiations Contract Management.
Advanced proficiency in Category Management Strategy.
Minimum 5+ years' experience in procurement or strategic sourcing roles.
Demonstrated experience in mining, oil gas, or heavy industry environments.
Proven experience managing services categories including: Facilities Management Logistics Industrial Services Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and market data.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
