An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Forensic Psychiatrist to join a major health service supporting the future mental health needs of individuals and families across South East Queensland .

The role provides an opportunity to combine complex clinical work with leadership, supervision, teaching and service development.
Your responsibilities will include: Providing specialist forensic psychiatric assessment and treatment.
Delivering high-quality clinical care within high-security inpatient programs.
Providing clinical leadership, mentoring and guidance to multidisciplinary teams.




Contributing to comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment planning.
Applying a recovery-oriented approach to patient care.
Providing consultation-liaison services as required.
Supporting the professional development and training of junior doctors and other medical staff.
Contributing to clinical governance and the ongoing development of mental health services.
