Job Description
About the Position:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced Coordinator Financial Operations to join the Shire of Broome team.
Coordinator Financial Operations will be responsible for:
Day to day operations of the finance department including Creditors, Debtors, Rates, Banking, Plant Costings, Journals and Allocations.
Ensuring the timely completion of End of Month Processes including the reconciliation of the Balance Sheet Accounts.
Managing End of Year processes and participating in the gathering of information for the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements and the associated Audit.
Preparing Reports for Council Agenda
Preparing and reconciling Monthly Financial Statements including the Local Government specific Statement of Financial Activity.
Qualifications in Accounting and experience in Local Government Accounting
Knowledge of ITVision SynergySoft Software
Ability to work closely with other Team members
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products, with knowledge of PowerBi
