About the Role As a key member of the Patient Services Access team, you will play an significant role in supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey, from referral through to appointment attendance.
You will provide high-quality administrative support while ensuring patients, carers and referrers receive timely, accurate and professional assistance.
Key Responsibilities Manage referral processing and patient waitlisting in line with Department of Health requirements.
Schedule appointments in accordance with Specialist Clinics Access Policy guidelines.
Respond to enquiries from patients, carers, referrers and healthcare professionals.
Provide frontline reception and administrative support across outpatient clinic areas.
Maintain accurate patient records and data entry standards.
Assist patients attending the hospital and provide clear, timely information.
Escalate patient concerns and operational issues as required.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service excellence.
Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient service delivery.
