In operation since ****, every Jardan piece is designed, crafted and assembled at our Production site in Melbourne, retaining skills whilst focusing on a premium made to order process bound by sustainability and quality.
What we are looking for : We are seeking full time Upholsterers to join our team in Scoresby.
The hours of work for this role are Monday to Thursday 6.30am to 3.00pm and Friday 6.30am to *****pm.
This role has the potential to work additional overtime hours in the afternoon.
Reporting to the Leading Hand, the key responsibilities include: Upholstering furniture frames using sewn fabric and leather kits Assembling sofas, modular sofas, beds, sofa beds, armchairs, ottomans and stools Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and work instructions Processing jobs accurately through our production software system Conducting quality checks and identifying opportunities for improvement Working collaboratively with colleagues across manufacturing teams Comply with all safe work practices and procedures Ensure tools, equipment and workstations are maintained in a safe,



clean and operational condition Supporting continuous improvement and workplace safety initiatives Assisting with stock control and production workflow requirements What we are looking for : We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team that values craftsmanship and continuous improvement.
You will bring: Previous experience in upholstery, furniture manufacturing or a similar hands-on production setting Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools safely and effectively Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to follow safe work procedures consistently A strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills The ability to read and follow drawings, instructions and quality specifications Good problem-solving skills and a focus on identifying and preventing quality issues Physical capability to perform manual tasks in a manufacturing environment What we provide : Convenient suburban work location in Scoresby *****pm finish on Fridays Above award rates of pay Training and career development opportunities Overtime hours paid at award overtime rates of pay Please email your resume and cover letter specifying the role you are interested in to our People and Culture team using the link below or via ******
