WHS Administrator September 29, **** Building Construction NSW Other Diverse role across compliance, training WHS Supportive team with ongoing development opportunities Must have a Cert IV in WHS Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented WHS Administrator to support the delivery of workplace health and safety initiatives across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised administrator looking to build their career within a safety-focused environment while playing a key role in supporting compliance, reporting, training and continuous improvement activities.
About the Role Reporting to the WHS Manager, you will provide administrative support across a broad range of workplace health and safety functions.
Working closely with operational teams and key stakeholders, you will assist with maintaining compliance requirements, coordinating training and inductions, managing documentation, supporting incident management processes and ensuring WHS systems remain current and effective.
Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and administer WHS programs, initiatives and compliance activities • Maintain WHS records, registers, documentation and reporting systems • Assist with incident investigations and corrective action tracking • Support workplace inspections, audits and risk assessment activities • Coordinate employee and contractor inductions, training and competency records • Prepare documentation, meeting minutes and action registers for safety committees • Assist with emergency response planning,
drills and related documentation • Support return-to-work and rehabilitation administration processes • Assist with WHS reporting, data collection and performance monitoring • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across WHS systems and processes • Maintain and support WHS policies, procedures and management systems • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding WHS requirements and activities Skills Experience The successful candidate will have strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
You will currently have a Cert IV in WHS or studying to obtain one.
You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
Previous experience in workplace health and safety administration, compliance, document control or a similar support role will be highly regarded.
Experience within manufacturing, construction, engineering, transport, logistics, mining or other operational environments would be advantageous.
