Experienced Pipelayer Tradesmen | Civil Infrastructure Location: Townsville, QLD Position Type: Full-time / Casual (Ongoing Work) Remuneration: Competitive Hourly Rate (to be advised) + Penalties + Superannuation Start Date: Immediate start for the right candidates About the Role: We are currently seeking experienced, hardworking Pipelayer Tradesmen to join our busy civil construction team for ongoing infrastructure projects across the Townsville region .
This is a hands-on, long-term chance suited to confident tradespeople who can work efficiently as part of a drainage and utility crew.
You will be responsible for the precise installation of critical underground infrastructure, working safely and meeting strict project specifications.
Key Responsibilities Laying and jointing civil infrastructure piping to precise line and grade.
Installing underground services for sewage manholes, electrical, NBN, and stormwater pits .
Setting up pipe lasers, reading civil construction plans, and ensuring accurate levels.
Guiding plant operators during trenching, bedding, and backfilling procedures.
Maintaining a strict focus on workplace safety, trench shoring, and confined space protocols.




What We Are Looking For: Proven Industry Experience: Essential hands-on experience in civil pipelaying (specifically stormwater, sewer, and deep utilities).
Tickets Credentials: Valid Construction Blue/White Card is mandatory.
Relevant plant tickets or Confined Space entry tickets are highly regarded.
Fit Able-Bodied: Physically capable and conditioned to handle demanding labor-intensive work in Townsville's heat and humidity .
Reliability Transport: Must have a solid work ethic, punctuality, and your own reliable transport to get to and from various project sites.
