Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the 'Courts Group'.

VCAT
The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including residential tenancies, planning and environment disputes, consumer and building matters, guardianship and administration, professional regulation and human rights.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join VCAT as a Senior Manager, providing operational leadership across the People's Rights and Responsibilities Division.
Working closely with senior leaders, Members and Registry teams, you will oversee performance, case management and service delivery, lead operational improvement initiatives, and drive consistent, high-quality outcomes for tribunal users.
This role is ideal for a strategic and collaborative leader who enjoys solving complex problems,



leading change and improving services in a dynamic justice environment.
You will be responsible for:
* supporting operational delivery across Practice Areas by working closely with the Director, Members, Practice Leads, Team Managers and Registry teams
* providing guidance and support on workload planning, service delivery, risk management and case management practices
* monitoring worklows, caseloads and performance through data analysis and identify emergin issues
* leading operational improvement projects and initiatives to improve efficiency, consistency, service quality and user outcomes
* coordinating responses to complex operational and cross-team issues through strong collaboration
* providing expert proecedural and operational advice to support business planning, service delivery and continuous improvement
The position is fixed term for 9 months
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
proven experience leading complex operational teams and delivering high-qulaity services in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
robust leadership skills, with the ability to influence, coach and build capability across diverse teams and stakeholders
sound judgement and analytical capability, with a track record of solving complex operational challenges and making evidence-based decisions
experience driving continuous improvement,



transformation and change initiatives that deliver measurable business and service outcomes
ability to interpret complex legal, procedural or policy frameworks and translate them into practical operational solutions
strong stakeholder management skills, with experience building trusted relationships and providing credible advice to senior leaders
