The Trisomic Trading Pty Ltd is a manufacturing business specialising in the production of precast concrete components.
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager (Manufacturing) to manage and coordinate our manufacturing operations at our Raceview facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising and controlling production activities to ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and in accordance with required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Plan, organise, direct and coordinate the day-to-day manufacturing and production activities.
Develop and manage production schedules based on orders, production capacity, labour availability and delivery requirements.
Plan labour, materials, plant and equipment requirements to meet production targets.
Monitor production output, quality, costs and timelines and adjust production processes and resources where required.
Coordinate and supervise production teams, including Team Heads and production workers.
Monitor staff performance and ensure employees follow established production procedures and standards.
Oversee the effective operation and utilisation of manufacturing plant, machinery and equipment.
Coordinate equipment maintenance requirements to minimise production interruptions and downtime.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures for the manufacture of precast concrete components.




Identify production inefficiencies and implement improvements to manufacturing methods, workflow and resource utilisation.
Coordinate with logistics and other areas of the business to ensure production and delivery requirements are met.
Monitor the availability and use of raw materials, parts, tools and other production resources.
Ensure production activities comply with workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures.
Maintain and review production records and prepare reports on production output, performance, costs and operational issues.
Report production performance, operational issues and improvement recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience Bachelor degree or higher qualification in manufacturing, engineering, production management, operations management or a related field; or at least five years of relevant experience in manufacturing production management in lieu of formal qualifications.
Demonstrated experience in managing manufacturing or production operations.
Experience in precast concrete, concrete products or a related manufacturing setting will be highly regarded.
Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, plant operations and workplace safety.
Demonstrated ability to manage production staff, resources, schedules and operational priorities.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
