We're looking for experienced VET Teachers – Electrical to join our Trades, Engineering and Technology team and bring their industry expertise into the classroom.
About the Role As a VET Teacher, you'll combine your electrical industry experience with your passion for teaching to deliver engaging, practical and industry-informed learning experiences.
You'll plan, deliver and assess high-quality training across a range of delivery modes, working collaboratively with education professionals to support students to achieve their qualifications and prepare for successful careers.
Teaching will primarily focus on units within the UEE***** Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and UEE***** Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) training packages.
You'll also have the chance to contribute to Fee-for-Service training, where your experience and specialist expertise align with client needs.

About You You're an experienced electrical professional and passionate educator who enjoys sharing your knowledge and helping others succeed.
You bring current industry practice into your teaching, build positive relationships with students and colleagues, and are committed to creating safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments.
You'll bring: Current practical experience in the electrical industry and the ability to translate your industry knowledge into meaningful learning experiences.
Experience designing and delivering high-quality training and assessment using contemporary teaching practices, technologies and a range of delivery modes.
A student-focused approach and a commitment to supporting learners with diverse needs, backgrounds and levels of experience.
Experience developing and improving learning and assessment resources while meeting quality and compliance requirements.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students and industry.




A commitment to maintaining current electrical industry knowledge, contemporary VET practice and your own professional development.
Confidence using digital technologies, including Microsoft Office, email and Learning Management Systems.
A genuine commitment to student success, mentoring and delivering a positive student experience.
