Working as part of dedicated multidisciplinary teams alongside experienced Consultant Psychiatrists, this permanent full-time or part-time opportunity offers Monday to Friday day shifts only, with no overnight or on-call commitments, allowing you to build a rewarding career while maintaining time for family, personal interests and wellbeing.
In this role, you will provide medical care in partnership with accredited Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs), undertaking psychiatric risk assessments and comprehensive medical assessments while contributing to exceptional, patient-centred care within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working closely with VMOs, Unit Managers, Admissions Officers and clinical staff, you will support patient assessment, treatment planning, ongoing care and discharge processes.
You will also maintain accurate clinical documentation, medication records and transfer summaries to ensure continuity and quality of care You will hold general registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)



and have at least three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting and you will demonstrate a genuine interest in Psychiatry and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care while working under the guidance and supervision of senior clinicians.
The successful candidate will possess strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Experience in Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) services is desirable, although training and support can be provided.
