THE ROLE The Lane Retreat is set on 15 hectares of vineyard and bushland at Bimbadgen's award-winning Palmers Lane estate in Pokolbin.
Its 60 luxury studios offer panoramic views of the Brokenback Ranges and an idyllic Hunter Valley escape.
Lead the immaculate presentation of our luxury studios and public spaces, inspiring the housekeeping team to deliver the refined, personalised experience The Lane Retreat is known for.
This role includes weekend work as part of a seven-day roster.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to Lead and monitor daily housekeeping operations, ensuring every studio and public area is presented to The Lane Retreat's exacting luxury standards.
Supervise routine and deep-cleaning activities, including bed preparation, bathrooms, dusting, balconies, pool areas and other guest spaces.
Anticipate guest needs and identify thoughtful opportunities to create memorable, personalised experiences.
Complete room inspections and checklists, ensuring all accommodation is immaculate, fully prepared and delivered on time.
Coach team members in correct room presentation, cleaning processes and end-of-shift procedures.
Work efficiently both independently and as part of the team, supporting colleagues to meet daily priorities and deadlines.




Promote teamwork and exceptional service through clear, consistent communication.
YOUR BACKGROUND Previous experience in hospitality or accommodation is highly regarded.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to follow checklists and established processes.
Clear, confident communication and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, manage competing priorities and support the wider team.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends as part of a seven-day roster.
