Tumby Bay Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its team on a contract basis, commencing as soon as possible through to 18 October 2026. Based in Tumby Bay, South Australia, this RN1 position offers the chance to work across multiple clinical areas including the Emergency Department, acute care, and aged care settings. The successful candidate will bring solid experience across these diverse environments and a willingness to support operational needs as they arise.

- Work across ED, acute care, and aged care settings with flexibility to support clinical priorities
- Contract role, ASAP start through 18 October 2026
- Rural and remote nursing experience valued; redeployment across areas based on operational needs and skill mix

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience working across Emergency Department,



acute care, and aged care settings
- Solid clinical skills and the ability to adapt to different patient populations and care models
- Experience in rural or remote nursing environments, or a genuine willingness to work in such settings
- Flexibility to be redeployed across clinical areas based on staffing availability and operational requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a multi-disciplinary healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
