About the Team
The Learning and Curriculum Unit sits within the Education Portfolio in the Division of Education and Students. The team works in partnership with faculties and central teams to support curriculum, teaching and assessment, contributing to student success through quality and innovative education.
Job Purpose
This role provides coordination, advice and operational support for curriculum management and administration across the University.
A key focus of the role is supporting the implementation of curriculum change. This includes reviewing transition and teach-out arrangements, identifying impacts to student study plans and administrative processes, and working with stakeholders to support effective implementation.
The role contributes to high quality curriculum administration practices and plays an important part in supporting student progression through periods of curriculum change.
Role Responsibilities
Provide advice and support on curriculum processes and student administration requirements.
Coordinate the implementation of curriculum changes and transition arrangements, supporting accurate student study plan outcomes
Work with faculties and central teams to analyse curriculum changes, identify impacts to student study plans, and support accurate implementation outcomes.
Identify impacts, trends and issues and contribute to process improvement activities
Support communication and liaison between faculties and student administration teams and facilitate training and briefing as required.
Contribute to the development, maintenance and review of procedures and work instructions, ensuring accuracy and consistency of information.

Selection Criteria
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, prioritisation and the ability to identify emerging issues and root causes, and contribute to continuous improvement in operations, systems, policy, processes and service delivery.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, develop networks, facilitate support and engagement and build strong working relationships with stakeholders
High level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including excellent conceptual, consultation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to exercise sound judgement, initiative and demonstrate confidentiality and discretion in all dealings.
Understanding of curriculum governance, management and administration in a higher education context.
Experience working across organisational boundaries to support consistency and effective implementation.

Remuneration/Salary
What We Offer
Base Salary Range: $109,014 - $120,596 (HEW7) plus 17% superannuation (pension)
The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
