About the role

Working under the clinical supervision of an experienced Nurse Practitioner and Medical Oncologist or Haematologist, you will undertake advanced clinical practice while completing the education, experiential learning and competencies required to progress towards Nurse Practitioner endorsement.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Use specialised planning and assessment skills to develop a comprehensive management plan for implementing and evaluating interventions related to CCS.
- Lead a portfolio to improve the care of patients within CCS.
- Demonstrate clinical thinking and reasoning and advanced problem-solving skills and expert clinical judgement to support the interprofessional team in the management and care of patients within the CCS.
- Provide specialist level advice in the development of clinical practices, processes, procedures, and protocols relating to patient flow within CCS.
