MACHINE OPERATOR | $45-$50/HR | HEATHWOOD
Join an established manufacturing business in Heathwood as a Machine Operator. This is a hands-on role operating production machinery, checking product quality and making adjustments to keep production running smoothly. Monday to Friday work with a competitive casual hourly rate.
Who you will be working with
You’ll be joining an established manufacturing team focused on producing quality products safely and efficiently. You’ll work alongside experienced operators and maintenance staff in a practical, hands-on environment.

Duties and responsibilities
- Set up and operate production machinery
- Load materials and adjust machine settings as required
- Monitor machinery and production output throughout the shift
- Check finished products using callipers,
micrometres and other measuring equipment
- Troubleshoot minor machinery issues and report faults when required
- Complete production records and basic cleaning and maintenance
We are looking for someone with
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Ability to read basic drawings or machine manuals
- Experience using measuring equipment such as callipers and micrometres
- Current forklift licence
- A trade qualification is highly regarded but not essential
