We are excited to present a remarkable full time opportunity for an Emergency Department Registrar with our client in North West QLD. This position offers the potential to explore and develop areas of clinical interest within the field of Emergency.

Hospital
This Hospital is a Level 4 Specialist Service Base Hospital and the major referral hospital for one of Australia’s most unique and rewarding healthcare regions. The 80-bed facility serves a vast 300,000 km² catchment area, providing care to approximately 32,000 people across remote Northwest Queensland.
The Emergency Department manages around 28,000 to 32,000 presentations each year, offering clinicians exposure to a wide range of complex and varied cases, as well as strong procedural and hands-on experience.
The Hospital has undergone significant redevelopment in recent years, with upgraded facilities including a new Emergency Department, modern Outpatients Department, dedicated Mental Health outpatient unit, Cancer Care Centre, and Paediatrics Unit. Clinicians also benefit from close collaboration with the Royal Flying Doctor Service and other remote health services across the region.

Requirements
To apply you must either be:

- Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience
- On ACEM training program
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
- IMG's with ACEM interview date
- IMG's assessed by ACEM and found to be substantially comparable.
