About the Team

The PQKF State-wide support team brings together a diverse range of clinical and professional experience and functions to support delivery of high quality, integrated and evidence based early years health services across the state. The team is responsible for:

- State-wide Leadership in Clinical Governance, Workforce Planning and Networked Care
- State-wide Leadership in Clinical Training and Development
- State-wide Systems Leadership in Community Digital Solutions Design.

About the Role

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the Assistant Director of Nursing, Early Years, to actively engage with state-wide child and family health clinicians, leaders, and HHS partners.

You will oversee systems and resources specifically dedicated to supporting the education and training needs of the child and family health workforce across the state, including, but not limited to the TSP SharePoint site, Learning Library Catalogue and other child health service education resources.

You will be accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of statewide child health nursing education and capability development programs. The position provides strategic educational leadership, expert clinical advice and workforce development support to enhance the capability, confidence and consistency of nursing practice across Queensland child health services.

Your leadership will foster and support a culture of lifelong learning, evidence-based practice,



clinical excellence and innovation, facilitating workforce development initiatives that support contemporary models of child and family health care and the objectives of the Putting Queensland Kids First reform agenda.
