This Tier 2 builder is experiencing a period of significant growth and sustained momentum. To support their expanding project pipeline, we are seeking an Experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a prestigious $70M multi-stage retirement living development in Brighton.

In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the construction program from initial site establishment through to final handover. You will oversee quality craftsmanship, rigorous safety protocols, and stakeholder coordination across multiple stages while ensuring our high standards are maintained in a live, sensitive retirement community environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Leadership: Manage all day-to-day on-site construction operations, ensuring the project program, budget, and milestones are strictly met.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion their "Safety First" culture, enforcing compliance with WHS legislation, site safety plans, and environmental regulations.
- Quality Control: Uphold exceptional standards of construction quality across all architectural and structural phases of the multi-stage build.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate, supervise, and mentor trade contractors, consultants, and site personnel to maximize productivity and alignment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and community stakeholders, given the phased nature of the retirement living development.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify construction bottlenecks or design coordination issues, delivering practical, timely solutions on-site.

About You

- Experience: Proven track record as a Site Manager delivering large-scale commercial, residential, or retirement living/aged care projects (valued at $30M+).
- Industry Knowledge:



Deep understanding of multi-stage construction sequencing, complex finishes, and building codes.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and team-management abilities with a collaborative leadership style.
- Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a trade background paired with extensive industry experience.
- Certifications: Current White Card, First Aid, and relevant supervisory tickets.
