About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager, Training Operations to lead the delivery of high-quality training and assessment services across our Training and Safety Solutions (TSS) business. Reporting to the National Manager, Training and Safety Solutions, this role provides leadership to a national team of Lead Trainers and Assessors, Senior Trainers and Assessors, and Trainers and Assessors.

The role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of accredited and non-accredited training programs, maintaining compliance with Registered Training Organisation (RTO) standards, and driving quality outcomes across all training and assessment activities. You will work closely with operational and compliance stakeholders to ensure training delivery aligns with regulatory requirements, organisational objectives and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support a team of Trainers and Assessors to deliver high-quality training and assessment programs.

- Ensure compliance with ASQA, RTO Standards 2025 and relevant legislative requirements.

- Drive quality assurance, continuous improvement and operational excellence across training activities.

- Manage resource allocation, training schedules, timetables and workforce planning to support program delivery.

- Oversee assessment processes, student records and Learning Management System (LMS) compliance requirements.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver organisational and government-funded training initiatives.

- Support the development and maintenance of training and assessment resources, strategies and curriculum materials.

- Analyse performance, client feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and business growth.

- Foster a positive, inclusive and safety-focused culture that supports learning, development and accountability.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- A TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).

- Extensive experience working within an RTO environment, including training delivery,



assessment and compliance.

- Robust knowledge of ASQA requirements, RTO Standards, VET systems, training package requirements and continuous improvement practices.

- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing training teams.

- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.

- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Experience developing, implementing and maintaining quality systems, training resources and assessment strategies.

- The ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances and undertake interstate travel as required.
