About the role

Ord Minnett is seeking a client focused and proactive Paraplanner to join our national paraplanning team in our Brisbane office. This is more than a paraplanning role - it's your opportunity to gain exposure to high-net-worth strategies, complex client scenarios, and set yourself up for a future as a Private Wealth Adviser through our Qualified Year and Associate Adviser Program. You'll work closely with experienced advisers to prepare high-quality Statements of Advice (SOAs), build sophisticated financial projections, and contribute to strategic advice development. If you're passionate about technical excellence and aspire to move into advice, this role offers a clear pathway through our Associate Adviser program and Professional Year.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare high-quality SOAs for a range of client strategies

- Build financial projections and modelling for complex advice scenarios

- Provide technical and strategic support to advisers during advice development

- Conduct peer reviews and contribute to process improvements

- Collaborate with a national paraplanning team to ensure consistent advice delivery

About you

- Minimum 1 year experience in paraplanning and SOA production (2+ years an advantage)





- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Financial Planning

- Progress toward Financial Adviser Education Standards (preferred)

- Strong working knowledge of Xplan (Risk Researcher, Wealth Solver, XTools+)

- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to progress toward becoming a Private Wealth Adviser
