About the role

Based in Bathurst and reporting to the Project Manager, you will help keep customer projects progressing by coordinating schedules, materials, documentation and outstanding actions. Working closely with Production, Sales, Procurement, Finance and customers, you will maintain clear project information, identify potential delays early and follow through on commitments. This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, communicates confidently and enjoys working in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain project schedules, track milestones and follow up outstanding actions.

- Support customer order handovers by confirming scope, requirements and delivery dates.

- Work with Production to align project priorities with workshop capacity and available resources.

- Liaise with Procurement and suppliers to monitor component availability, lead times and required quality documentation.

- Support the Project Manager in providing timely customer updates and communicating changes.

- Identify and escalate risks that may affect project quality, cost or delivery.

- Review and maintain accurate project records, customer requirements and approved changes.

- Coordinate quality documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Manufacturers Data Reports (MDRs).





- Work with Production and Logistics to ensure goods and documentation are ready for dispatch.

- Support project close-out reviews and improvements to planning, scheduling and communication.

About you

- Experience in project coordination, project administration, production planning, order processing, sales support or a similar role.

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

- Excellent attention to detail when reviewing customer, technical and commercial documentation.

- Clear, professional communication and the confidence to follow up commitments and raise concerns.

- A practical approach to solving problems and identifying potential delays.

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and business systems.

- The ability to build effective working relationships across teams, suppliers and customers.
