About the Role

Reporting to the Team Manager and based in Landsdale, the Senior Surveyor will lead and execute surveying activities on civil, commercial, and infrastructure construction sites, ensuring accurate measurements, data collection, and set-out for projects.

The role involves,. The Senior Surveyor will also contribute to improving internal processes and maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madeley, WA.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing field surveys

- Operating and maintaining modern surveying equipment and software

- Verifying data quality

- Preparing survey reports

- Supporting project planning and design with reliable spatial information

- Supervising junior surveyors and assistants

- Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to deliver precise survey outcomes.

About You

You will be a surveying enthusiast with technical skills to back it up. You are proactive, solutions‑focused and take pride in keeping systems, records and processes running seamlessly.

You will bring:

- Strong proficiency in land and engineering surveying, including field set-out, topographic surveys, and construction surveys.





- Experience using up-to-date surveying instruments and technologies (e.g., total stations, GNSS/GPS, laser scanners, digital levels) and associated software.

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications, and translate them into accurate on-site survey work.

- Demonstrated skills in data processing, quality assurance, and preparation of clear survey documentation and reports.

- Experience supervising or mentoring junior survey staff and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.

- Solid understanding of relevant standards, regulations, and best practices in civil, commercial, and infrastructure construction surveying.

- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with a focus on safety and risk management on site.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to build constructive working relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues.

- Relevant tertiary qualification in surveying or geomatics (or equivalent) and eligibility for professional membership or registration where applicable.

- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites throughout Western Australia as required.
