About the Role

Apprenticeships Are Us is seeking an experienced and motivated Apprentice Employment Manager – Generalist Specialist to join our team based in Parramatta, Sydney.

This full-time role will see you manage a diverse portfolio of apprentices, trainees and host employers across a range of trades and industries.

You will support apprentices and trainees throughout their employment journey, build strong relationships with host employers and identify new apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities.

We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is confident managing their own portfolio, building relationships and creating opportunities while working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage apprentices and trainees from commencement through to successful completion.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing host employers.

- Identify and develop new apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities across a range of industries.

- Conduct regular workplace visits and provide ongoing mentoring and support to apprentices and trainees.

- Monitor workplace performance, training progression and overall development.

- Address workplace, performance or training concerns in a timely and professional manner.

- Work closely with the Recruitment Team to match suitable candidates with available host employer opportunities.

- Liaise with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and other relevant stakeholders.

- Promote apprenticeship and traineeship pathways to employers and the wider community.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with GTO, legislative and organisational requirements.

- Ensure activities are undertaken in accordance with relevant National Standards for Group Training Organisations and apprenticeship and traineeship legislation.

- Achieve monthly performance KPIs while adhering to Apprenticeships Are Us policies and procedures.

- Represent Apprenticeships Are Us at career expos,



industry events and other stakeholder engagement activities.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience working within a Group Training Organisation (GTO).

- Strong knowledge of apprenticeships, traineeships and the Group Training model.

- Sound knowledge and understanding of the National Standards for Group Training Organisations and relevant apprenticeship and traineeship legislation.

- Experience managing apprentices, trainees and host employer relationships.

- The ability to work across a diverse range of trades and industries.

- Robust business development and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organisational, time-management and problem-solving abilities.

- The ability to work independently, take initiative and effectively manage competing priorities.

- A motivated, proactive and results-focused approach.

- A current Australian driver's licence.
