We are currently seeking a local, enthusiastic and reliable MC-licensed Milk Collection Tanker Driver to join our team for an immediate start.

The Role

SRH Milk Haulage is seeking a local, enthusiastic and reliable MC-licensed Milk Collection Tanker Driver to join our team for an immediate start, based out of our Picton / Harvey depots.

This role offers a mix of farm milk collection and line haul work, with runs throughout the South West and Great Southern regions. Drivers will have the chance to learn a variety of runs and gain experience delivering milk to processing facilities in Brunswick, Harvey, Balcatta and Bentley.

Full on-the-job training and support will be provided.

Applicants must reside within the Bunbury / Harvey region

This is a casual position with a view to full-time employment for the right person.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused

- An experienced and competent heavy vehicle driver

- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

- Physically capable of undertaking farm milk collections and tanker operations

- Professional and respectful when dealing with farmers and customers

- Able to manage time effectively and maintain schedules

- Keen to learn and develop within the milk transport industry

- Live locally within the Bunbury Region

What’s on Offer

? Casual Road Train rate: $53.31 per hour





Full-Time Road Train rate: $48.38 per hour

Night Shift Allowance: $57.50 per shift

? Local work – home after every shift

Duties & Responsibilities

- Milk collection from farms throughout the South West and Great Southern

- Line haul operations and delivery to processing facilities

- Operating a specialised milk tanker and associated equipment

- Maintaining collection and delivery schedules

- Completing required documentation and records

- Working in accordance with fatigue management, food safety and company safety requirements

- Maintaining a professional and respectful approach when dealing with farmers, customers and processing facilities

Essential Requirements

Applicants must reside within the Bunbury / Harvey region and have:

- Current MC Driver's Licence

- Minimum 1 year MC driving experience

- Apply Fatigue Management Strategies Certificate, or willingness to obtain

- Current Traffic Infringement Record/Traffic History

- Ability to successfully complete a driver medical

- Ability to successfully complete random drug and alcohol testing

- Permanent work rights in Australia

- Reliable transport to and from the depot
