About the Role

Tronox is seeking a driven and collaborative Senior Mine Surveyor to join our team at the Wonnerup Mine Site. This permanent, full-time role is critical to the successful delivery of mining operations by providing accurate, cost-effective survey services and operational support.

Reporting directly to the Mine Operations Manager,



you will be responsible for the field delineation of mine plans, measurement and reconciliation activities, and the timely delivery of survey data, reports and technical advice to enable informed operational decisions. Working closely with operational and technical teams, you will contribute to production targets and strategic mine plans through the provision of accurate survey control across ore and waste movements, stockpile management, engineering projects and tenement management.

In this role, you will support engineering project delivery, lead survey-related initiatives, oversee the integrity of survey data and systems, and drive the adoption of best-practice technologies. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on safety, governance and compliance, together with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Due to fatigue management requirements, applicants must reside no further than 45 minutes from Wonnerup Mine, as there are no camp facilities available at site.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- The highest regard for safe work practices
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in the mining industry




- A Degree or Advanced Diploma in Surveying
- Authorised Mine Surveyor Grade 2 Certificate (highly regarded)
- Experience using Trimble GPS survey equipment, Total Station, or equivalent survey technologies
- Proficiency in Surpac survey software and GIS applications such as ArcView
- Sound knowledge and application of surveying best practices within a mining environment
- RePL accreditation and experience with Pix4D software will be highly regarded
