Join Box Hill Institute as a Student Success Coordinator and play a key role in delivering our Wrap Around Services Program, supporting students who are at heightened risk of disengagement or non-completion. Working closely with faculties and Student Life services, you will provide proactive outreach, coordinate tailored support, and make a meaningful impact on student retention, engagement and success across the Institute.

These are full-time, fixed-term roles until 31 December 2029. Salary is $87,524 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.

About the role

We are seeking three Student Success Coordinators to lead the implementation of the Wrap Around Services Program across Box Hill Institute. Reporting to the Student Success Program Manager, you will work with an allocated portfolio of students and faculties to identify and engage students who may be at risk of withdrawing from their studies.

This is a highly collaborative and rewarding role that combines student support, early intervention, case coordination and stakeholder engagement. You will work across Box Hill Institute campuses, partnering with teaching teams, Student Life services and external support providers to ensure students receive timely and effective assistance throughout their learning journey.





What you'll do:

- Proactively identify and engage students at heightened risk of non-completion using attendance, enrolment and student engagement data.
- Deliver targeted outreach and re-engagement activities during the critical first 6-8 weeks of study and throughout the student lifecycle.
- Develop, implement and monitor individual support plans tailored to student needs.
- Coordinate referrals to internal and external services, including wellbeing, accessibility, financial, housing, cultural and specialist supports.
- Act as a key contact for allocated faculties, providing advice on student engagement, intervention and referral pathways.
- Maintain accurate case records, intervention data, student feedback and outcome reporting.
- Recognise and respond to elevated risk or complex situations, escalating matters appropriately when required.
- Support orientations, group engagement activities and initiatives that strengthen student connection and success.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, referral pathways, reporting processes and student success initiatives.
- Collaborate with teaching teams, Student Life services and external stakeholders to improve student retention, progression and completion outcomes.

About You:

To be successful, you will bring a passion for student wellbeing and success, along with experience supporting individuals facing complex barriers to participation and achievement.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

- A degree qualification in Social Work, Community Services or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in student support, case management, case coordination, early intervention, community services or education support.
- Experience developing support plans, coordinating referrals and monitoring outcomes for individuals with diverse or complex needs.
- Experience working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to achieve positive client or student outcomes.
- Highly developed communication, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, caseloads and deadlines.
- High level of empathy, cultural awareness and commitment to inclusive practice.
- Strong digital literacy with experience using case management, student management or data systems.




- Alignment with a child-safe, inclusive and values-based workplace
- Have, or be willing to obtain, Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Check clearance.
