We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused professional to join our Commercial Insurance team as a Senior Commercial Motor Claims Consultant.

This role offers the prospect to manage complex Commercial Motor, Fleet and Leasing claims while building strong relationships with customers, brokers and key stakeholders. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving positive claim outcomes, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the claims journey.

What you'll be doing

- Managing a portfolio of Commercial, Fleet and Leasing claims from lodgement through to resolution.
- Providing proactive, market-leading service to customers, brokers and business partners.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with fleet clients, brokers and key stakeholders.
- Acting as a key point of contact and advocate for fleet customers during the claims process.
- Determining claim requirements, gathering information and making sound claims decisions.
- Developing and managing claim action plans to achieve timely and effective outcomes.
- Proactively identifying fraud indicators, recovery opportunities and salvage potential.
- Negotiating settlements and claim outcomes with brokers and customers.
- Managing claim costs through accurate reserving and effective supplier management.




- Delivering client reporting and contributing to ongoing customer relationship management.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to team success.

Preferred experience

- Previous motor claims experience, ideally within Commercial, Fleet or Leasing portfolios.
- Experience working with brokers, customers and external service providers.
- ANZIIF qualifications or a willingness to work towards them.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, regulatory requirements and commercial insurance products.
