About the role

HVACR (ACRO Refrigeration/Shelair) is looking for an experienced Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our commercial refrigeration team. This is a permanent role for a qualified technician who wants good pay, steady work and the backing of an established service business. We are an established commercial refrigeration business servicing customers across South East Queensland. Our work includes hospitals, schools and hospitality refrigeration, cold rooms, freezer rooms, commercial refrigeration equipment, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.

Key responsibilities

- Commercial refrigeration service and breakdown work

- Fault finding and diagnostics

- Preventative maintenance

- Repairs to cool rooms, freezer rooms and commercial refrigeration equipment

- Refrigeration installations and equipment replacements

- Leak detection and refrigerant repairs

- Completing service records and job documentation

- Working directly with commercial customers across Brisbane and South East Queensland

About you

- Australian refrigeration and air-conditioning trade qualification





- Current ARCtick refrigerant handling licence

- Current Queensland driver's licence

- Strong commercial refrigeration fault-finding ability

- Ability to work independently

- Good communication with customers and the office

- Professional attitude and reliable work habits

- Commercial refrigeration experience is strongly preferred
