About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in the maintenance, certification and return to service of Bombardier aircraft while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and company requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Perform and certify aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with CASA regulations, approved maintenance data and Bombardier procedures
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on customer aircraft
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and modify aircraft systems and structures as required
- Certify maintenance performed and issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) where authorised
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with CASA, Part 145 and company requirements
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation and records
- Liaise directly with customers and customer representatives regarding maintenance activities when required
- Support aircraft maintenance inputs within the Melbourne Service Centre
- Identify and report hazards,



incidents and occurrences in accordance with Bombardier reporting procedures
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and professionalism

About you

- CASA Part 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
- Strong understanding of CASA regulations and Part 145 maintenance requirements
- Previous experience performing aircraft maintenance within a Part 145 environment
- Experience conducting line maintenance, base maintenance or both
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings and engineering instructions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Ability to work effectively within a team workplace
