About the Role
These roles focus on progressing opportunities from early-stage concept and feasibility through to commercial structuring, approvals and contract execution. Working across a diverse portfolio of energy and utility infrastructure projects, you will play a key role in shaping project outcomes, managing stakeholder relationships and enabling South Australia's energy transition client accounts, mentoring junior consultants, and contributing to the overall success of the recruitment team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development of customer-funded infrastructure opportunities from concept through to contract execution.
- Manage project feasibility, development planning and commercial assessment activities.
- Prepare and present business cases, project approvals, gate reviews and commercial recommendations.
- Develop customer proposals, presentations, offer packages and supporting documentation.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, regulators, government agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate project approvals and development requirements across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Lead or support commercial negotiations, contract discussions and project variations.
- Identify, assess and manage project development, commercial and delivery risks.
- Coordinate internal technical specialists to progress project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with governance, environmental, cultural heritage and regulatory requirements.
- Manage stakeholder engagement strategies and customer communications.
- Support the transition of approved projects into delivery and execution phases.




- Undertake site visits and stakeholder meetings to support project development activities.
- Contribute to the growth of Build Own Operate and Maintain (BOOM) opportunities and broader infrastructure investment initiatives.
- Monitor project development timelines, budgets and key milestones.

Skills/Experience

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Experience in project development, project management, infrastructure advisory or related roles.
- Experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy, engineering, construction or related sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen and customer relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing project development activities through feasibility, approvals and commercialisation stages.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience identifying and managing project, commercial and delivery risks.
- Understanding of project governance, procurement and contract administration principles.
- Strong communication, presentation and report writing skills.
- Robust problem-solving and decision-making capability.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and complex stakeholder environments.
- Commitment to health, safety,



environmental and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Current Driver's Licence or ability to obtain one.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Experience managing customer-funded infrastructure projects.
- Experience leading commercial negotiations and contract development activities.
- Experience within the energy, electricity distribution, transmission or utilities sectors.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure development, business case preparation and investment approvals.
- Experience working with government agencies, regulators and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of energy transition, renewable energy and network infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting Build Own Operate and Maintain (BOOM) projects.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies including PMBOK and project controls principles.
- Experience managing strategic customer relationships and complex commercial outcomes.
- Leadership capability suitable for Manager through to Associate Director level opportunities.
