About the Role
These roles will be responsible for progressing projects from pre-feasibility through to contract execution, working closely with customers, contractors, regulators, government agencies and internal technical teams. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to South Australia's energy transition while delivering critical utility infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate project development activities from concept through to contract execution.
- Lead project planning, governance, risk, cost and schedule management activities.
- Prepare and present project approvals, gate reviews and commercial recommendations.
- Develop and manage customer-facing documentation including proposals, presentations and offer packages.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, government agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate project approvals and development requirements.
- Support or lead contract negotiations, variations and commercial discussions.
- Identify, assess and mitigate project, commercial and delivery risks.
- Monitor project performance across safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives.
- Coordinate procurement activities and supplier engagement.
- Ensure compliance with governance, environmental, cultural heritage and regulatory requirements.
- Support or lead project transition into delivery and successful asset handover.
- Travel to project sites to monitor progress, undertake stakeholder engagement activities and support governance requirements.




- Contribute to the growth of Build Own Operate and Maintain (BOOM) and broader contracted project opportunities.
- Prepare project reporting, status updates and stakeholder communications.

Skills/Experience

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Experience in project coordination, project management or project development roles.
- Experience within infrastructure, utilities, energy, construction, engineering or related industries.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies including PMBOK, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), critical path scheduling and project controls.
- Robust stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills.
- Experience identifying, assessing and managing project risks and commercial considerations.
- Understanding of contract administration, procurement and project governance principles.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality outcomes.
- Commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.




- Strong customer focus and commercial awareness.
- Current Driver's Licence or the ability to obtain one.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Demonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure or utility projects.
- Experience leading commercial negotiations and customer relationship management activities.
- Experience within the energy, electrical infrastructure or transmission sectors.
- Knowledge of customer-funded infrastructure project delivery.
- Experience working with government agencies, regulators and external stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen and contract management capability.
- Experience supporting major energy transition or utility infrastructure initiatives.
- Project management certifications or professional memberships.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules and governance frameworks.
- Leadership capabilities suitable for Manager through to Associate Director level opportunities.
