Santria Group Cleaning Service is a local family business providing commercial cleaning and housekeeping services. We are seeking an experienced, reliable Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team and maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest service.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations and allocate tasks to team members.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleaning meets required standards.
- Coordinate room priorities, guest requests and handovers with reception and management.
- Train and support staff in cleaning procedures, safe work practices and customer service.
- Monitor linen, amenities, cleaning products and equipment, and arrange replenishment.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards and lost property promptly.
- Maintain checklists, inspection records and clear shift handovers.
- Assist with cleaning when required to meet operational needs.
About you
- Previous hotel, resort or accommodation housekeeping experience.
- Experience supervising or leading a cleaning or housekeeping team.
- Strong organisational, communication and team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and safe chemical use.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the role safely.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Lead by example with a skilled, respectful and positive attitude.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and consistent cleaning standards.
- Manage workloads efficiently and meet room turnaround deadlines.
- Communicate clearly with staff, guests and management.
