We’re looking for an experienced Academic Course Manager to play a key role in ensuring our vocational education programs deliver high-quality, compliant and engaging learning experiences.

Working across academic delivery, compliance, product and student support, you’ll oversee and continuously improve learning and assessment resources, support the rollout of new and updated qualifications, and help ensure our programs meet both regulatory requirements and the needs of our learners.

What you’ll be doing

In this varied role, you will:

- Review and enhance learning and assessment materials to ensure alignment with Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), training package requirements and RTO standards.
- Coordinate and contribute to validation of assessment tools and assessment judgements.
- Support the rollout of new and updated qualifications, ensuring academic quality and operational readiness.
- Work closely with trainers, assessors, Compliance, Product, IT and Student Support to identify and implement improvements.
- Monitor training and assessment practices, including assessment allocation, grading and RPL submissions.
- Use student feedback and progression data to identify opportunities to improve engagement, satisfaction and course completion.
- Develop resources that help students navigate learning content and assessments.
- Conduct quality reviews of Moodle content and identify opportunities to improve the digital learning experience.




- Deliver briefings and training to academic and student support teams on curriculum, assessment and delivery changes.
- Support tailored delivery models for corporate clients.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and ensure delivery remains aligned with RTO requirements.

About you

You’ll bring strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, an eye for quality, and the ability to balance compliance requirements with a positive learner experience.

Experience within the VET or broader education sector would be highly beneficial, particularly experience working within an RTO environment.

Ideally, you will have:

- Experience coordinating or supporting vocational education and training delivery, ideally within an RTO environment.
- Experience reviewing, validating and improving learning and assessment resources.
- An understanding of the Standards for RTOs, training packages and Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS).
- Experience supporting course implementation, resource development or delivery coordination.
- Knowledge of adult learning, assessment and vocational education practices.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems such as Moodle and student management/CRM systems.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively across academic, compliance,



product and student support teams.
- Strong organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A relevant vocational qualification.
