Established in 1824, Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is one of Australia's largest integrated cattle and beef producers and is the country's oldest continuously operating company. The Opportunity:
Join us on a 12-month contract covering a key business period, with the opportunity to gain valuable international trade and export experience within a global business with a possibility of extension. Working closely with Commercial and Supply Chain teams, you will manage end-to-end export logistics, documentation, and shipment coordination to ensure products are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with international trade requirements.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate export shipments from order through to delivery.
- Prepare and manage export documentation to ensure compliance.
- Liaise with freight providers, cold stores and production sites.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve logistics issues.
- Support customers by responding to enquiries and providing shipment updates.
- Work closely with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Assist with invoicing and shipment release processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve export and logistics processes.
What you'll bring:
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, customer service, freight forwarding or export coordination. Exposure to export documentation and international trade processes will be highly regarded, but not essential.
- Strong administrative and systems skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in agriculture, food, or perishable exports is highly regarded.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the confidence to work independently when needed.
- Solid sense of ownership and commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
