About the Role

Build a wide-ranging property career as Council’s go-to adviser on land and property. Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Services, this standalone role covers leases and licences, land sales, plans of management, and Crown Land management, with full support to grow into Native Title.

Duties

- Negotiate lease renewals for communication towers and Council land

- Review titles, deposited plans, and zoning to confirm property status

- Update plans of management for community reserves

- Coordinate valuers, agents, and surveyors on land purchases and sales

- Keep Council’s land, lease, and GIS registers up to date

Skills & Experience

- Experience in property, real estate, conveyancing, leasing, or land administration

- Qualification in Land Economics, Property, Town Planning, Business, or Legal Studies

- Confidence working with titles, leases, contracts, or plans

- Clear written communication, including report writing

- Australian working rights

- $90,916.80 - $103,927.20 p.a. + 12% super (up to $116,398 total package)
