About the Team

The Learning and Curriculum Unit sits within the Education Portfolio in the Division of Education and Students. The team partners with faculties, academics and professional staff to support teaching, curriculum and assessment aligned with quality standards and strategic priorities.

Job Purpose

This role provides strategic leadership and coordination of academic integrity governance, capability and practice across UTS. It supports a consistent approach to policy, capability and compliance across faculties and contributes to strengthening a culture of academic integrity.

Role Responsibilities

- Develop and lead strategies that promote academic integrity across the university.
- Lead and coordinate the Academic Integrity Network to support shared practice and alignment across faculties.
- Collaborate with curriculum and academic staff to embed academic integrity into subjects and courses.
- Design and deliver professional learning resources and activities for staff.
- Support faculties and central units in applying academic integrity policy, procedures and guidance.
- Develop a culture of collaboration across the University in addressing integrity issues.




- Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to reporting, audits and quality assurance processes.

Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives in academic integrity across a complex higher education environment.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in navigating ambiguity and responding to emerging challenges such as generative AI.
- Deep understanding of academic integrity principles, frameworks, and regulatory requirements in the Australian higher education context.
- Knowledge of curriculum and assessment design principles that support the embedding of academic integrity.
- Awareness of emerging risks and opportunities related to generative AI and digital technologies in education.
- Substantial experience in a leadership role related to learning and teaching, curriculum, or academic integrity.

Remuneration

What We Offer

Base Salary Range: $143,080 - $149,894 (HEW9) plus 17% superannuation (pension).

The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
