The Hospital
This hospital is undergoing a major $90+ million redevelopment as part of the Queensland Government’s $9.78 billion Health Big Build initiative, designed to enhance healthcare infrastructure across the state. The facility now features an expanded ICU, a 24-bed modular medical ward, and a rooftop helipad to streamline emergency transfers,
with plans for a new 25-bed inpatient unit including additional critical care beds. In this teaching-focused environment, you’ll gain hands-on experience managing complex cases, participate in clinical governance initiatives, and benefit from extensive career development support - all within a collaborative hospital dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
The Requirements
To apply you must either be:
- Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience
- On RACP training program
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
- IMG's eligible for the Standard Pathway
- IMG's with RACP interview date
- IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially or partially comparable.
