Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 4 Clinical Expert Occupational Therapist's to join the Northern Health Occupational Therapy team.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our six main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.

About the Role:

These exciting new roles are designed to support provision of specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention across the GEM, Acute and Community programs and represent a deliberate strategic investment in the future of Occupational Therapy services at Northern Health.

The successful candidates will lead and drive standardised, evidence-based best practice care; identify and lead innovation in practice and participation in quality and research, and support and promote the facilitation of learning that ensures a high level, evidence based Occupational Therapy service is provided to patients and clients.

The roles will provide leadership and specialist current clinical knowledge and skills, and have involvement in staff supervision, as well as providing direct Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to a clinical caseload.

Working alongside the Associate Director of Occupational Therapy and Hand Therapy and leadership team,
